Japanese ReleaseEdit

B1A4 made their official debut in Japan with ‘Beautiful Target’ on June 27th 2012, and on the same day of release, the group ranked within the top 5 on the Oricon Chart with famous Japanese boy band KAT-TUN and Girls’ Generation. In addition, the boys have also stolen the top 3 spots on Tower Records‘ daily rankings, Japan’s largest music portal site.[5] They've sold 15,868 copies of the Japanese version of the single.[6]

The lyrics were translated into Japanese by Shoko Fujibayashi. The single was released before its appearance on B1A4's Japanese debut studio album, 1, which was released on October 12, 2012.

The single was released in June 27, 2012 in three different editions: CD+DVD[7], CD+Goods[8], and a Regular edition (no goods or DVDs included).[9]

The music video of the Japanese version of the song was released on June 3, 2012, in Pony Canyon's YouTube account. Although this version has different studios and looks, the music video follows the same concept of the Korean version.
